Lupe is business software made by Meet Lupe LLC ("we"). This policy covers the Lupe app (on the web, iPhone and Android) and this website.
Businesses and their customers
Businesses use Lupe to run their work. Each business decides what goes into its account, and we handle that information on the business's behalf, only to provide Lupe to it. If you are a customer of a business that uses Lupe, please contact that business about your information; we will help them respond.
Information we collect
- Account details, such as names, email addresses and sign-in information of the people a business adds.
- Business records that a business enters or creates in Lupe, which can include its customers' contact details, appointments, notes, photos, invoices and payment status.
- Messages sent or received through Lupe, and what users type or say to Lupe.
- Technical information needed to keep the service working and secure, such as sign-in cookies and basic logs. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To provide and support Lupe, keep it secure, and communicate with businesses about their accounts. We don't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use one business's information for another business.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run Lupe (for example hosting, messaging, payment and artificial intelligence providers), under agreements that limit their use to providing their services to us; when the law requires it; or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public. Card payments are handled by a payment processor; we don't receive full card numbers.
Text messages
Businesses may send text messages through Lupe only to customers who agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts and START to receive them again. Mobile information and text message consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
Phone permissions
The app asks for the microphone so you can talk to Lupe, the camera and photos so you can add pictures, and notifications for reminders. Each is optional and can be turned off in your phone's settings.
Retention and security
We keep information while a business's account is open and delete it within a reasonable time after the account is closed, except where the law requires us to keep it. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, write to hola@meetlupe.com. If your information was entered by a business that uses Lupe, we will pass your request to that business and help them respond.
Children
Lupe is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes and let businesses know about important changes.

Los negocios y sus clientes
Los negocios usan Lupe para llevar su trabajo. Cada negocio decide qué se guarda en su cuenta, y nosotros manejamos esa información en nombre del negocio, solo para darle el servicio de Lupe. Si usted es cliente de un negocio que usa Lupe, comuníquese con ese negocio sobre su información; nosotros le ayudaremos a responder.
Información que recopilamos
- Datos de cuenta, como nombres, correos y datos de acceso de las personas que un negocio agrega.
- Registros del negocio que un negocio guarda o crea en Lupe, que pueden incluir datos de contacto de sus clientes, citas, notas, fotos, facturas y pagos.
- Mensajes enviados o recibidos por medio de Lupe, y lo que los usuarios le escriben o le dicen a Lupe.
- Información técnica necesaria para que el servicio funcione y sea seguro, como cookies de sesión y registros básicos. No usamos cookies de publicidad ni de rastreo.
Cómo la usamos
Para dar el servicio de Lupe y su soporte, mantenerlo seguro y comunicarnos con los negocios sobre sus cuentas. No vendemos información personal, no la compartimos para publicidad y no usamos la información de un negocio para otro.
Con quién la compartimos
Solo con proveedores que nos ayudan a operar Lupe (por ejemplo, de servidores, mensajería, pagos e inteligencia artificial), bajo acuerdos que limitan su uso a darnos sus servicios; cuando la ley lo exige; o para proteger los derechos y la seguridad de nuestros usuarios y del público. Los pagos con tarjeta los maneja un procesador de pagos; no recibimos números de tarjeta completos.
Mensajes de texto
Los negocios solo pueden enviar textos por medio de Lupe a clientes que aceptaron recibirlos. Responda STOP para dejar de recibirlos y START para volver a recibirlos. La información móvil y el consentimiento para textos nunca se comparten con terceros para mercadotecnia.
Permisos del teléfono
La app pide el micrófono para que pueda hablar con Lupe, la cámara y las fotos para agregar imágenes, y las notificaciones para recordatorios. Todos son opcionales y se pueden apagar en los ajustes del teléfono.
Conservación y seguridad
Guardamos la información mientras la cuenta del negocio esté abierta y la borramos en un tiempo razonable después de que se cierre, salvo lo que la ley nos obligue a guardar. Usamos medidas de seguridad estándar de la industria para protegerla.
Sus opciones
Para ver, corregir o borrar su información, escriba a hola@meetlupe.com. Si un negocio que usa Lupe guardó su información, le pasaremos su solicitud a ese negocio y le ayudaremos a responder.
Menores
Lupe es para negocios y no está dirigida a menores de 13 años.
Cambios
Actualizaremos la fecha de arriba cuando cambie esta política y avisaremos a los negocios de cambios importantes.
